Request for amendments to agenda Chairperson Plautz stated that we do have a change to the agenda; the City of Tiffin has requested withdrawal from today’s agenda. Matt Rasmussen replied that the property owner and the city were in some negotiations so they requested the petition be withdrawn from the agenda today.

Staff Reports
Matt Rasmussen stated he expects to have a couple items on the agenda for next month. Matt Rasmussen thanked Mari Bunney and Mackenzie O’Hair for their service on the Board. It has been a pleasure having you on the Board. Mari Bunney stated it has been an honor to serve and Mackenzie O’Hair stated that Matt Rasmussen and Betty Hessing are wonderful to work with—thank you so much. Chairperson Plautz also thanked Mari Bunney and Mackenzie O’Hair for their service.

Eric Dirth gave an update on the two cases that are continuing to move. First, the City of Dubuque matter, which was briefed and argued in March; we are waiting on the District Court’s decision. The second case is Chris and Christy Schuling versus the City Development Board. We are currently waiting on a decision from the City of Altoona’s Motion to Intervene. They would be joining us on our side of the case as another respondent. So those cases, we are just waiting on the Judge’s orders.

Mari Bunney stated she did want to thank everyone for the help, insights and education that you have provided over the past four years. It has been an honor to serve and I have learned a lot about city development that I would not have known otherwise. Chairperson Plautz and Jim Halverson thanked Mari Bunney. Mackenzie O’Hair stated you folks have been wonderful to work with and yes, a lot of things I would not have known before being on this Board. Thank you for everything. Chairperson Plautz stated we have three public hearings today, so with that our business meeting is adjourned.
