UPDATE: NOVEMBER 17
ENHANCED PUBLIC HEALTH MEASURES PUT INTO PLACE

Effective Tuesday, November 17 at 12:01 a.m. through Thursday, December 10, Governor Reynolds has enacted additional public health measures, including further limits on social gatherings, mask requirements for indoor public buildings (with certain exceptions), limits on youth sporting events and additional health measures at restaurants, bars and personal service establishments. IOWA MOVIE THEATRE RELIEF PROGRAM ANNOUNCED

The Iowa Movie Theatre Relief Grant is an extension of the Iowa Small Business Relief Grant Program and will provide short-term relief to eligible movie theatres for the purpose of continuing or resuming business operations in the context of a public health emergency. The application deadline was 5 p.m. on November 16, 2020. Applications are now closed.

IOWA COUNTY FAIRS RELIEF FUND ANNOUNCED

The Iowa Economic Development Authority's Iowa County Fairs Relief Fund is an extension of the Iowa Small Business Relief Grant Program and will provide short-term relief to eligible county and district fairs for the purpose of continuing or resuming business operations in the context of the current COVID-19 public health emergency. The application deadline was 5 p.m. on November 16, 2020. Applications are now closed.
 

UPDATE: OCTOBER 9
RESIDENTIAL UTILITY DISRUPTION PREVENTION PROGRAM ANNOUNCED

The Iowa Economic Development Authority's Residential Utility Disruption Prevention Program will provide short-term relief to eligible residential electric, natural gas and water utility customers that face significant hardship in the payment of utility bills for service provided between March 17, 2020 and October 8, 2020.
