Sub-Saharan Africa Trade Mission
Africa is the second-largest continent with high demand for consumer and capital goods. Most African economies rely on imports to satisfy the needs and requirements of the large populations. This multi-sector trade mission is for Iowa companies looking to enter or increase their presence in the African markets. The trade mission will be based out of South Africa, but there will be an option to also travel to neighboring countries, such as Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is open to all Iowa companies across all sectors.
IEDA's International Trade Office, in collaboration with in-country consultants, will work with individual companies to provide market research, customized business appointments, on-site support, complete mission planning, and pre- and post-mission assistance.
Limited space is available, and the deadline to register is March 31.
