Iowa EdTech AcceleratorApprenticeship America

Modeled after the software industry bootcamps, Apprenticeship America is working with clients to get acquainted with businesses and their specific needs to create the necessary training for future employees. This training is hands-on and is much cheaper than the usual hiring and training process, allowing businesses to hire and train new employees without acquiring debt.

The Agenda. Period

The Agenda. Period is an all-in-one planning system and app that helps high achieving women use their menstrual cycle to increase their productivity and impact. The app teaches women about the four phases of their cycle and how to use the gifts of each cycle for peak productivity.

With a goal of helping parents through the individualized education planning (IEP) process for their children with special needs, IEPequity is offering a communications toolkit. This toolkit joins parents with mediators that help them understand concepts and jargon as well as provide support and connects schools with the necessary platforms and resources to help all their students.

Referred to as the “Kelly Blue Book for colleges,” TuitionFit is building a way for parents and students to discern how much colleges cost. Parents and students can upload financial aid letters to allow anyone with a subscription to utilize consulting services and compare real college prices. College search professionals and colleges and universities themselves have also joined the platform to provide real pricing information and compare competitors’ prices.
