$400,000 CAT grant awarded to Cedar Falls
March 7, 2024 (DES MOINES) – At today’s meeting, the Enhance Iowa Board awarded a $400,000 Community Attraction and Tourism (CAT) grant to a community natatorium in Cedar Falls.

Project Name: Community Natatorium
Total Project Cost: $5,787,650
Amount Awarded: $400,000
Project Description: This project includes the installation of two pools, spectator seating and locker rooms.
The Enhance Iowa Program provides financial incentives to communities for the construction of recreational, cultural, educational or entertainment facilities that enhance the quality of life in Iowa. To date, 139 CAT grants have been awarded by the board, totaling $47,205,023. The next Enhance Iowa Board meeting is scheduled for April 4, 2024.
